Savour the sights and tastes at The Village

27 June 2023

Make a beeline to the gourmet market of your dreams and spend a delicious day strolling among the tantalizing food stalls lining Providore Park’s The Village.

The food-lovers paradise is a wonderland of mouth-watering snacks, drinks and treats, perfect for a DIY picnic hamper or to take home for a next-level dinner party.

Start the day with a smooth single-origin or premium blend coffee from Coffee Mentality and a sweet treat or two.

Nodo Donuts serves its guilt free doughnut while small-batch artisan bakery Lisboa Caffe tempts tastebud with its signature Portuguese Custard Tarts.

Fill your picnic basket with locally produced cheeses, antipasti and olives, cold fusion honey from Sunshine Coast’s Hum Honey, salami from Goose on the Loose and premium organic naturally leavened sourdough crackers from Silver Tongue Foods and preserves from Ugly Duck Fine Foods.

For true indulgence, you must visit Yarra Valley Caviar to stock up on its premium, Australian-grown caviar before visiting one of The Village’s pop-up bars for a perfectly matched glass of Chandon Vintage Brut.

Bringing party vibes to The Village is the Fever-Tree Mixer Bar for you to enjoy an array of tasty cocktails and Stone & Wood pouring its handcrafted local beers while you dance to DJ beats.

Take your time chatting to stallholders and sampling their wares before wandering over to Celebration Lawn and rolling out the picnic blanket to soak up the sounds of free live music.

The Village is open daily from 10am to 6pm and entry is FREE.
