2024 Sustainability Wrap: Providore Park x Closed Loop

As the sun set on another unforgettable year at Providore Park, one thing was clear — 2024 wasn’t just about good food, live tunes, and a vibrant community atmosphere. It was about making an impact, and leaving the park cleaner and greener than we found it.

This year, Providore Park proudly teamed up with Closed Loop, a leading Australian sustainability company that helps events, venues and businesses close the loop on waste through smarter recycling and resource recovery.

Together, we set out to reduce our environmental footprint and the results speak for themselves:

• 79% of event waste was diverted from landfill
• 4,540 containers were collected and returned
• 21.71 square metres of waste was hand-sorted on site

Thanks to the hard work of the on-ground cleaning crew and the Closed Loop team, most of this waste will be recycled, upcycled or reused, giving it a second life well beyond the bins.

Sustainability is more than a buzzword, it’s a commitment. By working with passionate partners and making smarter choices, Providore Park continues to prove that great events and green thinking can go hand in hand.
