Providore Park Event Entry – Terms and Conditions
- These terms and conditions set out all information regarding attendance at the Providore Park event (the Event) located at Roma Street Parkland and we encourage you to read them carefully.
- The organiser of this Event is City Parkland Services ABN 72 068 043 318, whose principal office is located at Level 17, 300 Queens Street, Brisbane City, Queensland, 4000. (Event Organiser).
- Entry to the Event is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Event Details
- The Event will be held within a designated area of Roma Street Parkland (the Venue) and will take place from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 13 July 2024 and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday 14 July 2024.
- General admission to the Event is free-of-charge and includes access to The Village, Main Stage and Stone & Wood Garden Bar (General Admission). Attendees are encouraged to register their interest in General Admission at the Event at providorepark.com.au.
- General Admission to the Event (except for individual ticketed experiences occurring at the Event) is open to all ages. Attendees under 18 years old must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Ticketed Experiences
- In addition to General Admission entry, tickets to 14 individual ticketed experiences are available for purchase. These ticketed experiences are:
- Picnic Society;
- VIP Lounge;
- 10 different Masterclasses; and
(each a Ticketed Experience).
- Tickets to each of the Ticketed Experiences may be purchased for a fee at providorepark.com.au. Tickets for Ticketed Experiences are subject to the availability and all ticket sales are strictly handled by the Event Organiser’s ticketing supplier.
- Ticketed Experiences are available to persons aged 18 years or older at the time of purchase.
- A ticket allows single entry for that Ticket Experience only.
- By purchasing a ticket to a Ticketed Experience, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Event Organiser’s ticketing supplier.
Entry to Event
- BYO food is permitted in the Venue.
- This is a licensed Event and alcohol will be available for purchase and consumption within the Venue. Attendees are not permitted to BYO alcohol into the Event or any of the Ticketed Experiences and must not consume alcohol outside of the Venue. Large fines may apply to any attendees found breaching this condition.
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to inspect all bags and containers being brought into the Venue and refuse entry to any person carrying an item that in the Event Organiser’s absolute discretion is dangerous or prohibited.
- In addition to Roma Street Parkland’s Conditions of Entry; glass containers, portable structures including tents, marquees and beach umbrellas are not permitted to be brought into the Event.
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute performers and vary the programming at the Event, including substituting personnel to undertake the Ticketed Experiences.
- No smoking is permitted inside the Venue or within 5 meters of any entrance to the Venue.
- Filming and photography may take place during the Event. By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed and filmed by the Event Organiser for its use in promotional marketing materials. The Event Organiser will retain all rights in the material it produces and you agree to waive all rights in relation to any photograph, image or likeness of your image produced by the Event Organiser. If you do not wish to be filmed, please see an Event staff member upon entry to the Venue.
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to a Ticketed Experience to any person who is unable to present:
- a valid ticket for that Ticketed Experience; and
- valid form of photo identification (such as Australian driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card).
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Venue for offensive behaviour, conduct causing a public nuisance including being drunk or disorderly or that creates a disturbance, or for failing to comply with these terms and conditions (including a failure to comply with condition 23).
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse any person entry to the Event if the Event Organiser determines, in its sole discretion, that the Venue cannot safely accommodate additional persons due to Venue capacity limits.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Event Organiser will not be liable to any attendee whatsoever for any loss, damage or claim suffered by any person arising from or in connection with the Event Organiser’s exercise of the discretions contained in conditions 14, 19, 20, and 21.
- Dogs and cats are permitted within the General Admission section of the Venue and must be on-leash and under effective control at all times. Dogs and cats are not permitted in the parts of the Venue that are designated for Ticketed Experiences. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that their animal does not create any disturbances during the Event. Pet owners must clean up after their animal, including collecting and disposing of waste in the appropriate waste receptacles; control dog barking; and exercise due consideration for others.
Refund Policy
- Tickets to the Ticketed Experiences are strictly non-refundable for change of mind or if you are unable to attend the Ticketed Experience due to personal circumstances.
- The Event Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion to issue a refund to a ticket held for a Ticketed Experience in extenuating circumstances and on a case-by-case basis. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Event Organiser and will ONLY be considered if the refund request is supported by the following information:
- the registered email against the ticket booking;
- the reason for the request; and
- any other supporting documentation (medical certificate, etc).
- Please note that submitting a refund request does not guarantee that your refund request will be approved. Requests will be responded to within five working days.
- If a Ticketed Experience is cancelled or rescheduled by the Event Organiser, ticket holders of that Ticketed Experience may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price as displayed on providorepark.com.au (excluding associated booking fees and charges) subject to the ticket holder submitting a refund request in accordance with condition 25 of these terms and conditions.
- Subject to condition 27, to the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the Event Organiser will not be liable whatsoever for any loss or claims incurred by any person as a result of the cancellation or rescheduling of a Ticketed Experience.
- Re-sale: Tickets must not be resold without the prior written consent of the Event Organiser. Where the Event Organiser has approved the re-sale of the ticket, it must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium, including via on-line auction or other unauthorised re-sale sites.
No Liability of the Event Organiser
- Without limiting any obligations owed by the Event Organiser at law, persons entering the Venue and attending the Event (including Ticketed Experiences) do so at their own risk. The Event Organiser makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any Ticketed Experience or the Event.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Event Organiser is not liable for:
- any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network for misplaced, lost or ineligible tickets; or
- any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any person (including but not limited to direct, indirect, economic loss or consequential loss); or
- without limiting condition 31(b), any personal injury or death or loss of, or damage to property sustained in connection with the entry to the Venue or attendance at the Event or Ticketed Experience,
howsoever such liability arises and whether arising in tort (including without limitation in negligence), for breach of contract (including without limitation under any indemnity), under statute, in equity or otherwise. This condition is not intended to exclude any liability which cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws. Any such liability is limited to the amount paid by the ticket holder for a ticket to the relevant Ticketed Experience.
Force Majeure
- If for any reason the Event or any Ticketed Experience is not capable of running for any cause beyond the control of the Event Organiser, the Event Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Event or Ticketed Experience.
- In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, epidemic, pandemic, strikes; the Event Organiser may in its absolute discretion cancel the Event.
Event updates or cancellation:
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to cancel or amend the programming of the Event at any time and persons acknowledge and agree that, unless otherwise expressed in these terms and conditions, they will have no rights of recourse or any other claims against the Event Organiser. Any amendments to the Terms and Conditions will be made via this page.
